About Me

I'm an older student in an accelerated program working towards a graduate degree in biomedical engineering. For many years I struggled with education and school due to what I now know was undiagnosed ADHD. I failed and had to retake almost every math class (occasionally more than once) until multivariable calculus.

The bad news:
- that's a lot of time and money.

The good news:
- I've failed these classes in almost every possible way so you don't have to!

I have a lot of experience tutoring most STEM related classes and this website was created as a place to organize my notes and address some of the common problems I see students struggle with while also being a supplemental resource for the students that I tutor.

The degree that I'm working on is very broad and requires skills and knowledge from a wide range of areas including math, chemistry, physics, biology, and computer science. My overall goal for the site is for it to eventually be a comprehensive linked database of general information and applications within the broad umbrella of "Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine". I want this to be a resource for people who are familiar with the concepts to use as a reference, but more importantly, I want someone who is just starting their STEM journey to be able to click around and see all the different cool things that they are building to.

I plan on always keeping this site free and open to use as a resource. If you would like to support the project, you can buy me a coffee here, and if you find any errors, have any ideas or improvements, or want to reach out for any other reason you can reach me at thespiffyspaceman@gmail.com
